Product Testing and Validation
Dedicated test facilities enable product testing to validate operating performance parameters and limits. Like AESSEAL® products, test facilities are continually developed in order to optimise product reliability.
Test parameters can include performance testing to specific requirements, including API 682. Criteria includes’ the selection of the product media (water or oil), pressure, temperature and rotational speed. To further mirror application conditions, test cycles can be programmed to include variable-speed conditions, continuous stop/start and bi-directional rotation.
Product test and performance data is used to continually improve designs and specifications; the ultimate goal is to develop products which are more durable and help improve host equipment up-time.
